Dear Census Bureau,
This is in response to your endless stream of harassing letters.
A. After your first letter I went to your Web site and entered the information that I am willing to give you.
My name is Jed Margolin.

I will add, while preserving all of my rights under Constitutional and Statutory Law, and Basic Human Rights, that I am the only natural person living at the above address.
B. In November 2016 I filed a Freedom of Information Act Request with the Department of Commerce which was given tracking number DOC-OS-2017-000199:
Description: This Freedom of Information Act Request involves:
1. The following individuals: Charles Reger and Reza Zandian (aka Gholamreza Zandian Jazi aka Gholam Reza Zandian aka Golamreza Zandianjazi aka Reza Jazi aka J. Reza Jazi aka G. Reza Jazi; which will be referred to as Reza Zandian).
2. The following companies: Lucach, Computer World USA Division (also known as the USD Division), Optima Technology Corporation, Iran Business Machines, and RISQ Technology Corporation.

I would like the following:
1. Charging Letter dated December 6, 1993 (to Charles Reger from Department of Commerce).
2. Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED), July 5, 1991, signed by Charles Reger, acting in his capacity as
General Manager of Lucach.
3. Any and all Shipper’s Export Declarations signed by Charles Reger or Reza Zandian (aka ....)
4. Any and all Shipper’s Export Declarations on behalf of Lucach, Computer World USA, Optima Technology Corporation, Iran Business Machines, and RISQ Technology Corporation from 1989 through 2016. See attached letter: jm_foia_commerce.pdf Jed Margolin November 18, 2016.
For some reason it was transferred to another agency and given a new tracking number: DOC-BIS-2017-000199.
In December 2016 I was informed that items 2 and 4 had been transferred to you. These were

In a letter dated January 19, 2017 you denied my FOIA Request citing the provisions that protect Census information even though this was not Census information. I have attached this as Reference 1. (For an html version click here.)

And so, you used bureaucratic obfuscation and mendacity TO PROTECT THE ENEMIES OF THIS COUNTRY.
That makes you not only untrustworthy, but an agency that is a danger to this country. Why should the American people trust you with their personal information? I know I don’t.
C. As far as your promise of confidentiality is concerned, the following two sections are from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Census :

The census records data specific to individual respondents are not available to the public until 72 years after a given census was taken, but aggregate statistical data derived from the census are released as soon as they are available.
With Google’s data mining capability and the extensive database they keep on everyone who uses Google for anything I have no doubt that they can use their expertise to narrow down your aggregate statistical data to individuals. (And if you use an Android Smart Phone they know even more about you.)
Google isn’t the only company with expertise in data mining. There is also Sisense, Oracle Data Mining, IBM Cognos, DOMO, RapidMiner, KNIME Analytics Platform, Orange Data Mining, and Dundas BI. No doubt there are many others and I will bet that they (and Google) are the first ones to download your data as soon as it is available.

Under the administration of President Franklin D. Roosevelt the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), using primarily census records, compiled (1939–1941) the Custodial Detention Index ("CDI") on citizens, enemy aliens, and foreign nationals, who might be dangerous. The Second War Powers Act of 1941 repealed the legal protection of confidential census data, which was not restored until 1947. This information facilitated the internment of Japanese-Americans, following the Japanese attack on the U.S. at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and the internment of Italian- and German-Americans following the United States' entry into World War II.[34][35]
You have already broken your promise of confidentiality several times. There is nothing to stop you from doing it again.
Donald J. Trump became President of the
Trump has hollowed out and corrupted almost every single Federal agency ranging from DOJ to Homeland Security to the Department of State to OSHA to CDC. If he orders you to turn over individuals’ information to him, YOU WILL DO IT. It doesn’t matter whether it is for use by his companies for commercial advantage or for political purposes. YOU WILL DO IT.
For the foregoing reasons (and because you denied my request for a fee waiver based on the Journalist Exemption) your demand for additional information from me is HEREBY DENIED.
And you are hereby ORDERED to go [expletive] yourself.
D. If you send your representatives to my house they should be accompanied by a sworn officer from the Storey County Sheriff’s Department who should bring either a Court Order or a Warrant for my arrest.
I do not take kindly to strangers showing up at my door unannounced.
Remember Zandian?
In 2007 Zandian stole several of my U.S. Patents (some of which are considered pioneering aerospace patents in the field of synthetic vision) by fraudulently filing documents with the U.S. Patent Office. In 2009 I sued him in the First Judicial District Court of Nevada. I eventually got a large judgment against him. And because of his conduct there is a Warrant out for his arrest for Contempt of Court.
Zandian’s third law firm (Kaempfer Crowell) withdrew from representing him because, among other things, “Defendant insists upon taking action that the lawyer considers repugnant...” Considering the actions that Kaempfer Crowell did take for Zandian they have a very high bar for what they consider repugnant.

I have reason to believe that Zandian is very unhappy with both my Judgment against him and the Warrant for his Arrest.
Since Zandian is an undisputed terrorist it is likely that at some point he will send someone up here to whack me. That is why I do not like strangers showing up at my door unannounced. And why I have a security and surveillance system.
If you send your people you should expect a video of the encounter to be posted on YouTube and other channels. You might think (like the Gestapo) “Great, that will strike fear in the hearts of others to make them obey us.”
I am willing to bet that you would be wrong.
